Fimbulvetr Industries, DA, LLC, GbR, MChJ, seeks an engineer (Mechanical/Electrical/Eldritch) with ambiguous morals and questionable sanity. Daily responsibilities include the design, fabrication, and implementation of various devices and mechanisms with the potential to winnow the Earth, shatter the bonds of society, and potentially disrupt the very fabrics of reality. This position is intended to move Fimbulvetr Industries from a mad-science-based apocalyptic conglomerate far too concerned with maintaining control groups safe from the cleansing fires it seeks to unleash upon humanity, to a practical operation whereby none are spared. Pay is negotiable (based on experience), but primary compensation includes seeing the devices you labor upon scourge the Earth and the satisfaction of a job well done. Excellent health, dental, and vision included! Pension available (though unlikely to be necessary pending operational success). Fimbulvetr Industries, DA, LLC, GbR, MChJ, is a Norwegian general partnership, registered as a limited liability company in Delaware, USA, operating through a German partnership in conjunction with laws governing Uzbekistani limited liability companies. Its mission is to efficiently usher in an epoch of destruction heretofore unseen by human eyes. Now LEED certified!
Tales of Ruma goes on sale today. I’ve gotten a chance to read the stories. The anthology is a relentless, grimdark, experience. The authors excel in crafting brutal stories, tragic tales, and weaving prose into a violent, punchy, form. The standout story to my eye is “A God of Death” by D.J. Butler, but I’m going to give a quick rundown of each after the jump.

THANK YOU. You guys are pretty great.
I believe that the orders will start fulfilling in April for ebooks, and within a month or so after that for the paperbacks and hardcovers. I’m sure that Azure Keep will… keep… everyone posted.
My story “The Final Sundering of Hellas” is coming out in the anthology Tales of Ruma: Stories Inspiried by Greek & Roman Mythology in a couple months. The anthology is in the midst of a kickstarter with a fairly modest goal: $2,500.00. Get to $2,500.00, and the publisher will print a limited edition print run of 100 hardcover copies. It’s most of the way there, but we should do what we can to nudge it over the top, yes?
The inspiration for my story was the real history of an assassination that changed the world (but that many people remain unaware of). Naturally, after actually writing the story, almost nothing of the real historical event remains, and all we have left is a story of a desperate man, in a desperate situation, taking a desperate action, and hoping to defy the odds to come out alive. It’s got it all: intrigue! A tense banquet! Poison! An amorous prince! Assassinations! Betrayals!
That description not your thing? Well, check out the table of contents. I’m sandwiched in along side bestselling authors, so if Jody Lynn Nye, David Farland, D.J. Butler, Julie Frost, are more your speed, this anthology has them. Don’t sleep on “and more,” either.
So… check it out maybe?
